Production Team Still Busy

Having returned from the highly successful run of Lite Bites and Tasty Treats, in Edinburgh - and while work still continues on the feature film, Dead Down Under...

Some members of The SpaceCraft Production Team have also signed themselves up for involvement with the Acting Factory's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Also on the horizon, for other members of the Team, is the Symphony of Australia, Australia Day Concert. As Australia Day approaches, and the mammoth job of organising all those involved gets larger and larger... we wish you all the best of luck.

As a result - the production of 2 short plays (now chosen as "Time To Remember..." and "Our Miss Fitson"), "Closing Time", will be further delayed, until later in 2010. Stay tuned for updates on that one.

While some of the SapceCraft Production Team are busy on the set of Dead Down Under - other members are away, involved in the production of Lite Bites and Tasty Treats, at the Edinburgh Festival.

As a result - all further plans for our production of short plays have been postponed until early next year.

More news later in the year.

Second Play Reading

After reviewing the plays sent by Kate O'Brien a decision has been made to organise a separate reading, specifically for those 2 plays.

Both plays are possible targets for our next production - but organising extra time and the cast for the reading on the 17th May won't be possible.

Received plays from Kate O'Brien

Kate O'Brien delivered 2 plays for our consideration. Interim and Our Miss Fitson.

Will be looking to combine a reading of one of these plays into our planned play reading in a couple of weeks.

Play Reading

We have been in search for a new project for little while. A co-op production, most likely. Something simple, with lower production requirements.

We are planning a play reading of two plays Time To Remember... by Nikolas Ward and Mrs. Bond and Her Ducks by Bobbie Scarlet.

The plays both have small casts (2 and 3 respectively) and might work well together as a double-bill. Will use the reading to assess plays appropriateness for our next production.
